Humphrey Bogart

This weeks song is perhaps the dumbest song yet from me. But I think it deserves a listen anyway.

As it’s not really related to any special event, it could be about anything. Your guess is as good as mine.
What do you think this song is about? Does it have a deeper meening?

There was once a time
When everybody was happy
Until the day they came
Two guys named Humphrey brought a end to the best time of my life

Every morning they’d stand out by their garbage bins – yelling hello
And at night they played country music on the radio

Two guys named Humphrey
Are living next to me

There was once a time
When it was quiet and calm in our neighbourhood
Until the Humphreys came and had annoying happenings organized

They had cars that were louder than mine but they biked to work – idiots
They came by with cookies and milk in golf caps

Two guys named Humphrey
Are living next to me

When I bake a pie, they are baking two
And when I say hi, they say how do you do
It’s a living hell, I can’t stand the Humphreys

Two guys named Humphrey
Are living next to me
