Once again OWG takes on a deceased Hollywood actor. This time the song is an obituary for the late Charlton Heston. The star of films like ‘Planet of the Apes’, ‘The Ten Commandments’ and ‘55 Days at Peking’.

Also a notorious supporter of the right to own a gun.

Heston had severe Alzheimer, and died at the age of 84.

Sometimes an actor seems, to go beyond the screen.
Sometimes there’s no barrier between him and me.
And when it happens, I will close my eyes and wish that it’s reality.

Charlton Heston died this saturday, his spokesman said.
He was 84, no comment on the cause of death.

He was born in ‘24, one october day.
He was known for his square jaw, and the roles he played.

The Ten Commandments and Airport 1975.
He made Ben Hur and El Cid come to life.

He was elected as the president of the NRA.
‘You will have to remove my gun from my cold dead hands.‘ he used to say.

Charlton Heston, you’re a part of Holly-history.
You represent the good old fashioned epic quality.

Charlton Heston, your face should be on Mt. Rushmore.
Charlton Heston – right next to Michael Moore.
